Another Year Pass

Another year gone and am growing older. No more sweet 18 neither 20, am not a forever 21 birthday boy. Btw, this is the first year am celebrating my birthday over the sea. Even normally back in Malaysia, my birthday is not celebrated "bigly" but I did really miss the moment celebrating my birthday back in Intec, with my collegians. Indeed, time passes super fast.

This year, am baking my very own cake. Red Velvet to be exact. It was small but delicious. For a beginner like me, the cake was well baked. Thanks to Allah. ><

The grated cheese make the Red Velvy wonderful.
Just look at the layer, perfect rite.
Then as usual, a birthday's celebration won't be called celebration without food. Isn't it. So, I cycled off to Dundrum Town Centre after class to go and give a try to the Jamie's Italian. Summed up, it was amazing. Even the portion quite so small, but the taste was yummmiess.

My portion of Prawn Linguine.
Abbas' treat; Panna Cotta. There is a story behind this sinful looking desert.
And then a birthday wishes from my very own housmate. Indeed I am blissful to have such a thoughtful housie.

Precious than a dollar
At the night, my friends; Hanna, Becca, Yong Yong and Micheal came over to my house to prepare me a dinner. How thankful am I, perghhhh. (no photo cause the food is damn delicious; Ayam masak merah)

Then a treat from Tajul at Wagamama again colour my birthday celebration. Yes, surrounded by amazing friend was absolutely gonna make me cry.

Kare Loman. My verdict, so-so.
Finally, thanks to everyone for making my day.

Malaysian Night 2014

Another amazing night that surely cannot be forgotten easily. My very first Malaysian Night here in UCD, Dublin and it was superb indeed. Everybody wear as a Malaysian and what nicer bout it is that we were served with Malaysian cuisine as well. Even not "sO" delicious but at least it was satisfactory. Lol.

One Malaysia.
All the performer
The event started with a simple but incredibly nice choir from Msoc's choir group. Turn out, they sang few different song in different languages; Malay, English and Chinese which stunted me. Plus, the sang the malay song by Faizal Tahir, Gemuruh Jiwa very very well.

The choir members.
As I said the food may not be the top-notch but am a big plater.
Well still, a good companies will eventually make the food taste better. Btw, on the night, I am joining the Borneo Dance and performing. Lol, even am not a sabahan nor sarawakian, the spirit of being Malaysian driving me to be part of this team and at the end of the day, I am gladed with my decision. It truly paid off.

A week practice for the performance was actually a bit rush but knowing that we nailed the night, I am indeed so happy. Plus, we got lots of praises from our friends saying that, "It was a good performance back there" or something like"shahnon, you danced very well". Blushed. LOL, ignored it.

As am saying, it is Malaysia Night thus we were all try to be as malaysian as possible.

The I summed up the night as one of my best night here since I was in Ireland. The food, the people and especially the performances were indeed remind me of being Malaysian and want to be H.O.M.E.
